Teachers have 70 minutes of planning time each day and a half-day each
week for staff-planned professional development. This frees up 500 hours

Teachers teach four full days of academic classes each week, then spend
the majority of every fifth day working collaboratively in teams and attending
professional development. While the teachers are involved in professional
learning, students rotate through special classes including music, art,
computer lab, and science labs. The students begin and end the day in
homerooms.

Camelview provides teachers a 90-minute professional development block
of time four days a week, to work together. During this time, students
attend specials, including social studies and science.
