Safety in the science laboratory
The day has come for you to conduct your first laboratory experience for your students. You have decided on the format and type of laboratory you will conduct and now you are ready to begin. STOP! First, make sure you have a safety contract. A safety contract can help prevent problems before they start and also can be used to demonstrate to parents and administrators that you have worked to develop an appropriate environment for science experiments.
