(more) The other tools on the ASSIST site are designed to address broad problems in teaching that go beyond particular grade levels or subject areas. However, all mentoring cannot be generic. Each content area has unique challenges and how one thinks about planning in science may need to be quite different from how one thinks about planning in English. Similarly, elementary, middle and high school classrooms each pose different kinds of problems. The tools and resources in this section are designed to help you think about teaching in relation to particular contents. |
