Once you have learned about some of the community resources available, you are ready to think about how you might draw upon them to create events that enable your students to exchange information about their own family histories, culture and values with a range of people. The chart below is designed to help you brainstorm possibilities for various subject matter areas. It can be adapted to your own teaching situation.
