Describe the challenges in the task that require knowledge and judgment to be used innovatively to fashion a quality product or performance.

Describe the complex and non-arbitrary criteria and standards involved in the task.

Describe the recurring essential activities, genres and standards that occur.

Describe how the task reflects core adult roles and discipline-based challenges. Does it have real work applications?

Describe how the task provides usable, diagnostic feedback.
