MEMSPA

Induction is a smart investment in creating more capable and effective teachers who are satisfied and will stay in the profession. We can't afford to lose highly qualified teachers. We know the sink-or-swim approach does not work. The Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA) supports the use of the practical, research-based induction and mentoring tools and resources contained on the ASSIST site as a huge step toward developing highly qualified teachers and collegiality in the profession.
